The Whitewater Rotary Club meets from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm on Tuesdays at the Whitewater Country Club, Hwy. 89 South, Whitewater, Wisconsin.

Chartered in 1966, the Whitewater Rotary Club is part of Rotary International, the worldwide association of Rotary clubs whose mission is to provide service to others, to promote high ethical standards, and to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through its fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.

Promoting Rotary youth exchange is one way to advance world understanding and more than 8,000 young people from countries around the world participate in Rotary's Youth Exchange Program.  The Whitewater Rotary Club has been very active in supporting local students who wish to study abroad, as well as international students who attend Whitewater High School.

The Whitewater Rotary Club recently hosted Jacques from France and Zoe from Taiwan.  Veronica Gallegos, a WHS student who is sponsored by the Whitewater Rotary Club, has just returned from Rio De Janeiro, Brazil where she spent her 2009-2010 school year.  We look forward to welcoming Roberto Terrazas our newest exchange student from Boliva to Whitewater for the 2010-2011 school year.
